Abstract

Bank is a financial institution or a company engaged in the financial sector that provides various financial services. The role of banks as reflected in the ability of intermediaries to channel funds raised and returned to the community in the form of credit. Various types of business activities also resulted in the need for various types of credit requirements and is one form of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM). The Role of Bank Indonesia through the implementation ofmonetary policy also affects the development of UMKM. Monetary policy through interest rate cuts BI rate and exchange rate stability control efforts provide an opportunity for UMKM entrepreneurs to improve access to credit and establish business optimism UMKM.Based on the results of research on the Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD) with base year 2008-2011 it is concluded that there are positive and significant influence of Third Party Funds (DPK) for UMKM loans, and a significant negative effect of non-performing loans (NPLs) of UMKM credit, the influence positive and significant loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) of UMKM credit, there is no effect of inflation on UMKM loans. Positive and significant deposits, NPL, LDR, and inflation jointly to credit of UMKM. Calculation results are known coefficient 2 of determination or adjusted R of 35.9% predictor of UMKM credit variables influenced each DPK, NPL, LDR, and nflation. The remaining 64.1% is affected by factors outside of those variables.
