Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of investment opportunity set (MVA/BVA), financing decisions (DER), dividend policy (DPR), and corporate social responsibility on the firm value. Firm value in this study as proxy with price to book value (PBV). Population of this research is all statement financial listed public manufacturing company at Indonesia Stock Exchange the publishing annual report period 2008-2010 with a total of 62 data from 31 company as sample using purposive sampling (judgment sampling) method. Data analysis technique uses classic assumption test (multicolinierity test, autocorrelation test, heteroscedasticity test, and normality test), hypothesis test and multiple regression analysis. The result of this study show that: investment opportunity set positively affects the firm value with level significance is of 0.000; financing decisions positively affects the firm value with level significance is of 0.023; dividend policy not affects the firm value with level significance is of 0.410; and corporate social responsibility not affects the firm value with level significance is of 0.555. All of independent variable has significant affects the firm value imultaneously with level significance is of 0.000.
