Abstract

Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) is ratio used to measure the ability of bank management in profi as a whole. This research intent to know whether credit risk (NPL), management quality (NIM), size, liquidity (LDR), efficiency (BOPO) and rentability (ROA) have impact on Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). Population in this research is 30 banking corporate which registered at Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI). Sample that utilized is as much 28 Banks by use we purposive sampling that observed from 2006 up to 2010. In this research utilize test tool as linear regression bifilar, F test, and t test by significant level 5%( α = 0,05). Test result is proved that credit risk that measured by NPL have negative and significant influence on CAR,management quality which measured by NIM have negative and significant influence on CAR, size that measured has positive and significant influence on CAR, liquidity that measured by LDR have positive adn significant influence on CAR, efficiency that measued by BOPO is not have influence on CAR, rentability that measured by ROA has positive and significant influence on CAR.
