Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of camels aspect and macroeconomic on the financial sustainability ratio (FSR). The population in this research used all of foreign exchange banks which listed in BI during period 2005-2009. Purposive sampling method were used as samples determining method and 23 bank selected as the sample of the research. The analysis data technique using multilinier regression, hypotheses test used t-statistic to examine the effect individually (partial) and F-statistic to examine the effect simultaneously (simultant). Beside that this research also has done classic assumption test which consist of normality test, multicolinierity test, autocorelation test, and heteroskedastisitas test. The result of this research proven that only NPM, ROA, and NIM is evident to have an impact on Financial Sustainability Ratio (FSR). Simultaneously, all of independent variable in this research have an impact on Financial Sustainability Ratio (FSR) with the sygnificancy rates as big as 0,000. The prediction ability from eight variables on Financial Sustainability Ratio (FSR) is 69% , while the residue is 31% effected by others factor that is not entered in this research.
