Abstract

Islamic bond can be an investment alternative for investors who want to invest with Islamic principles and still have economic value or yield favorable at particular risk. Islamic bond yield is an important factor for consideration of investors in purchasing bonds as investment instruments. The purpose of this research was to determine the bond rating, the quality earnings, firm size and leverage against the Islamic bond yield. Sampling method in this research using purposive sampling with a sample of 20 types of Islamic bonds listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange with the contract criteria ijarah Islamic bonds in the period 2009-2010. Analytical techniques used in this research is the muliple linier regression. The research finding show that the effect of bond rating and firm size to Islamic bond yield was negative significant, the effect of leverage to Islamic bond was positive significant while the effect of earning quality to Islamic bond was not significant. Size of goodness of fit this model in this research by 57,6%.
