Abstract

This study aims to test whether financial performance can mediate the relationship between Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and corporate values. The research objects are companies registered in the Property, Real Estate, and Building Construction sectors in the 2019‒2022 timeframe. The required data is taken from the websites of the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) and the Asian Corporate Governance Association (ACGA). Data were collected from 156 sample and then processed using SPSS while to test the effect of mediation, sobel test was used. From the tests carried out, it was found that financial performance was not able to mediate the relationship between Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and corporate values.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah kinerja keuangan dapat memediasi hubungan antara Good Corporate Governance (GCG) dengan nilai perusahaan. Objek penelitian yang digunakan adalah perusahaan-perusahaan yang terdaftar di sektor Properti, Real Estate, dan Konstruksi Bangunan pada rentang waktu 2019‒2022. Data yang diperlukan diambil dari laman Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) dan Asian Corporate Governance Assosiation (ACGA). Data yang terkumpul sebanyak 156 sampel dan kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS sedangkan untuk menguji pengaruh mediasi digunakan uji sobel. Dari pengujian yang dilakukan didapatkan hasil kinerja keuangan tidak mampu memediasi hubungan GCG dengan nilai perusahaan.
