Abstract

The research objective is to analyze the effect of the reward system on organizational culture, employee performance, and organizational commitment;analyze the effect of organizational culture and organizational commitment on employee performance, analyze the effect of reward systems on employee performance through organizational culture and organizational commitment. The research population is oriented towards all health employees in Tegal Regency, namely 1,838 employees (OPD OPD employees and Puskesmas employees). The sampling technique uses a multistage sample (two different sample combinations, namely a purposive sample and a proportional sample). The first stage was a purposive sample with the criteria of Health Minimum Service Standards (SPM) employees at the OPD Health Office, as well as Puskesmas employees (specifically the profession of general practitioners, dentists, nurses and midwives). The second stage is a proportional sample using the slovin formula, so that a sample of 133 respondents is obtained. The results of the study are that the reward system has a positive and significant effect on organizational culture and organizational commitment, the reward system and organizational commitment have no effect on employee performance, organizational culture has a significant positive effect on employee performance, the reward system has a positive and significant effect on organizational culture and employee performance, and the reward system has no effect on organizational commitment and employee performance.
