Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of incentives and promotions on employee motivation. Giving incentives that fluctuate and do not meet employee expectations and the difficulty of promotion within the scope of the Logistics Division of PT Propan Raya ICC Regional 5 Central Java-DIY is an interesting issue to study. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research sample was taken using non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique, totaling 34 respondents. This study uses the theory of two-factor motivation (Herzberg) focusing on extrinsic factors. The analytical method uses data analysis tests (Validity and Reliability Tests), and classical assumption tests (Multicollinearity, Heteroscedasticity and Normality Tests). The results of the hypothesis obtained are that incentives and promotions have a positive and significant effect on employee motivation of PT Propan Raya ICC Regional Logistics Division 5 Central Java-DIY.

Pemberian insentif yang fluktuatif dan tidak sesuai harapan karyawan serta sulitnya promosi jabatan di ruang lingkup Divisi Logistik PT Propan Raya ICC Regional 5 Jateng-DIY menjadi issue yang menarik untuk dikaji. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan jenis non-probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling, berjumlah 34 orang responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori motivasi dua faktor (Herzberg) berfokus pada faktor ekstrisik. Metode analisis menggunakan uji analisis data (Uji Validitas dan Reabilitas), dan uji asumsi klasik ( Uji Multikoloniaritas, Heterokedastisitas dan Normalitas). Hasil hipotesis yang didapat adalah bahwa insentif dan promosi jabatan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan PT Propan Raya ICC Divisi Logistik Regional 5 Jateng-DIY.
