Abstract

This study aims to examine the performance of property and real estate sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) before and during the Covid-19 pandemic as measured using EVA and MVA method approaches. The population in this study is all property and real estate sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sampling technique in this study used the purposive sampling method. The research data used is the annual financial report for the 2018-2021 periods with a sample of 104 data from 26 property and real estate sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The analysis method in this study is a different test with the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test which is processed using IBM SPSS 23. The results showed that there were differences in the value of Economic Value Added (EVA) and Market Value Added (MVA) before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Teknik pengambila sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data penelitian yang digunakan adalah laporan keuangan tahunan untuk periode tahun 2018-2021 dengan jumlah sampel 104 data dari 26 perusahaan sub-sektor property dan real estate yang listing di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Metode analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah uji beda dengan Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test yang diolah dengan mengunakan IBM SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian menunnjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan nilai Economic Value Added (EVA) dan Market Value Added (MVA) sebelum dan selama pandemi covid-19.
